No. Exomide is an exosome which are secreted by cells in the body (they are not cells). Therefore, they cannot replicate or transform because they are cell-free and DNA free.

Your consultation involves a full skin and facial assessment and provides you the opportunity to discuss your area(s) of concern and expectations. You will also have clinical photography so we can monitor your treatment outcome and progress.

Our Exosome Infusion Facial combines the use of micro-needling which facilitates the direct delivery of active ingredients beneath the epidermis. 

This process significantly enhances the skin’s capacity to absorb active substances while minimising the loss or wastage of these valuable components by opening channels in the skin barrier.

After your skin is cleansed we apply topical numbing cream to ensure the treatment is comfortable. You may experience some mild tingling or pressure.

Exosomes can also applied using topical application directly onto the skins surface. This is a great add on following treats such as Laser or Morpheus RF Micro-needling.

There are risks involved with all medical procedures. Your doctor or therapist will discuss all potential side effects and risks  during your consultation. 

Depending on how Exomide is administered it often has minimal to no downtime. After the treatment, heat, bruising, swelling and redness may occur. This is temporary and relieves within a few days. 

Other less common side effects may include tenderness, raised bumps under the skin, allergic reaction, itching or a mild rash.

After your treatment we recommend the following aftercare:

• Do not touch the treated area
• Keep the treated area clean and dry
• Do not apply makeup until the next day
• Do not apply Vitamin C or any AHAs or BHAs for at least 24 hours

3-4 treatments are suggested every 4 weeks.

Maintenance treatment every 3-6 months.

Your healthcare practitioner will determine the number of treatments based on your individual skin needs.

Results are visible from 1 month, optimal at 3 months post treatment.

Results are most effective after a treatment cycle of 3 treatments.

While Exomide™ Exosome skin therapy is safe for most individuals, it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to limited clinical research. For your safety and peace of mind, we recommend waiting until after this period before starting exosome-based treatments.
