Cosmetic Medical Treatments

On the 7th March 2024 the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has updated its advertising guidelines for cosmetic treatments that use prescription Schedule 4 medications.

Any reference to cosmetic injection services with prescription-only substances or to product trade names is NOT Permitted. This includes alternative terminology, reference to doses, prices and before and after images.

Whilst this will limit the information we can provide; it does not mean we don’t offer these treatments anymore.

HOW DOES THIS EFFECT YOU?

Existing Patients

If you are an existing patient of B Cosmetics and are due for a treatment you will not be able to book this specifically online. You may have to give the clinic a call and we can organise the appropriate booking for you. Alternatively, when you are here at the clinic you can rebook your next visit.

New Patients

All new patients to B Cosmetics need a consultation prior to booking a treatment. Our consultation process is a very important step in tailoring a treatment plan specifically for you that is appropriate and safe, whilst addressing your concerns. An initial Doctors consultation can be booked online or alternatively you can give the clinic a call.

The doctor led team at B Cosmetics believe in providing comprehensive transparent information to our patients to educate and empower them to make informed decisions about their care. We are committed to providing safe clinical care for our patients.

We understand this can be a confusing and frustrating time for our patients. If you have any questions about these treatments, please contact our clinic or make an appointment with one of our doctors to learn more about the treatments we offer.
