Bio Remodelling

At B Cosmetics a consultation with one of our doctors is required prior to having Bio Remodelling treatment. Your consultation involves a full skin and facial assessment and provides you the opportunity to discuss your area(s) of concern and expectations. You will also have clinical photography so we can monitor your treatment outcome and progress. We at B Cosmetics are committed to providing safe clinical care for our patients. Our consultation process is a very important step in tailoring a treatment plan specifically for you that is appropriate and safe, whilst addressing your concerns.

This treatment is usually well tolerated. Topical anaesthetic (numbing) cream is available prior to treatment if required.
After the treatment it is normal to feel small lumps at the injection site, but as the product starts to spread, they will disappear within 24-48 hours.

The initial treatment recommendation is 2 sessions 1 month apart to get optimum skin results. A maintenance single session ever 6 months is recommended for ongoing results.

It takes time for the treatment to stimulate cells to produce collagen and elastin and improve hydration. You will start to notice the results of the Bio Remodelling treatment 4-6 weeks after the first session.

There is typically minimal downtime following treatment and most people can resume their daily activities. It is normal to feel lumps under the skin and this with resolve over 24-48 hours.

To reduce the risks of side effects and optimise your results we advise the following precautions:

• Do not touch, massage or apply pressure to the treated area.
• Do not apply make-up to the treated area for at least 24 hours.
• Ice or cool compresses can be gently applied to reduce swelling, bruising and discomfort.
• No strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours.
• No active skin care (Vitamin C, Retinol etc) for 2 days post treatment.
• No other facial aesthetics treatments such as peels or laser for at least two weeks following discussion with your treating doctor.

Results are seen after your first 2 treatments.

Bio Remodelling treatment is a medical procedure. Like all procedures they carry risks. Our doctors will discuss all risks and contraindications prior to performing any procedure. You will also be given information on how to prepare for the treatment.

Bio Remodelling treatment has minimal side effects some of which include but are not limited to: 

• Local Swelling
• Asymmetry due to swelling
• Redness
• Bruising
• Pain or discomfort
• Irregularity or lumpiness of the filler

Rare complications include:

• Formation of granulomas or nodules
• Bacterial or viral infections
• Allergic reactions
• Damage to nerve or vascular structures
• Tissue Ischemia
• Blindness (very rare)

Bio Remodelling treatment cannot be given to pregnant or breastfeeding women.

In line with the TGA guidelines we are not able to advertise the price of our Bio Remodelling treatment. Our Doctor's will  be able to provide further information during your consultation.
